I really meant what I posted, but I have to admit that I cried when I dropped her off and I cried when she got home. So much for enjoying every moment. LOL. So, I certainly don't have all the answers, but I know that God has a plan for her and that His grace is sufficient.Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18049479754726104291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1651482149036394430.post-86842435358409572652008-08-08T04:58:00.000-07:002008-08-08T04:58:00.000-07:00Star-I have been feeling the same way! I too remember those moments in the hospital where I prayed for the woman she would become and the part God wanted me to play in that. Honestly, the thing I am dreading the most is her going away to college. The thing I need to keep in mind is to stay present and joyful in her last year of high school and not always be thinking, "This is the last fall concert ... this is the last Homecoming ..." etc. High school for me has been that transition from dictatorship to democracy ... from making the decisions to guiding the decisions to helping her cope with the consequences of the decisions she has made on her own. Being a mother is certainly not for sissies!! Enjoy every moment!Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18049479754726104291noreply@blogger.com
